Tony Dungy is a naive, dangerous fool.

“Michael Vick made a mistake.” This is Dungy’s assessment from Sunday’s NBC Hall Of Fame Game.

Yes. Vick bought a large country estate. He hired people to train and torture and kill dogs on a daily basis. He lied to the press, he lied to the NFL, he lied to the police and the FBI.

Vick himself personally and with delicious, vicious enthusiasm killed these innocent dogs on a regular basis.

After being caught, Vick orchestrated a massive effort to avoid prosecution, using friends and family and anyone else around him to fall on the sword so that Michael Vick would escape prosecution.

“Michael Vick made a mistake,” Dungy says.

“Charles Manson was a misunderstood boy,” Tony Dungy says.

“President John Kennedy was killed by a lone assasin,” Lawyer Dungy says.

“Pol Pot was an astute politician, it was simply the massive graves and hundreds of thousands of collected skulls that gave a bad impression,” Revisionist Dungy says.

“History would be different if only Hitler had a better PR man,” Scholar Tony Dungy says.

The Blind Tony Dungy could not see the painful desperation of his own teenage son, could not help this son who committed suicide, this poor young soul who was his own flesh and blood, who was within his own blood family.
